ABOUT TREWENNAN SELF-CATERING ACCOMMODATION
Trewennan is an established homestead in Hogsback, in the Eastern Cape. The property is centrally located in a quiet cul de sac, and has large and well-maintained gardens. The property is within easy walking distance from the village, from which one can access the many surrounding walks. There are two separate dwellings, the Main House and the Hydrangea Cottage. Each dwelling has its own separate parking and garden area. There is also an extended outdoor area, which comprises a forest area and an orchard.
- All bedding and towels are provided.
- Both dwellings have a fireplace, and wood is available at an additional charge.
- Braai facilities are available at both dwellings.
Main House: The main house has a thatch roof and consists of three bedrooms and a fourth overflow room, which sleep up to eight people. All the bedrooms, and the lounge, have stunning garden views, with the surrounding mountains (the three hogs) in the background. There are two full bathrooms (one MES). There is also a large lounge with a dining area. The kitchen is fully fitted, with a dishwasher and washing machine.
Hydrangea Cottage: This rustic but comfortable cottage consists of two large bedrooms, with a smaller third bedroom, and sleeps up to eight people. The lounge overlooks a beautiful open, sunny garden, which is surrounded by hydrangeas. The main bedroom has an en suite bathroom, with toilet and shower. The main bathroom has a bath and shower. The cottage has a separate kitchen and large open plan dining / lounge area.
